About the Role:
IET Systems, a national leader in high-security perimeter and surveillance systems, is seeking a Construction & Compliance-focused Executive Assistant to support our CEO and help drive mission-critical operations.
This position is ideal for someone with entry to mid-level experience in legal documentation, construction bid preparation, and compliance coordination who’s looking to grow their career by supporting a CEO with multiple companies and high-profile projects.
You’ll play a central role in organizing bid submittals, ensuring regulatory and licensing compliance, tracking key contract requirements, and supporting administrative functions at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit construction bid packages across multiple state and federal platforms
Research and maintain licensing and business registrations across states and municipalities
Review bid forms, RFPs, and prequalification packages for completeness
Assist with insurance, bonding, and legal compliance requirements
Help manage contracts, agreements, and supporting documents
Attend project and leadership meetings; take and distribute meeting minutes
Support CEO with scheduling, reminders, and project follow-ups
Coordinate with vendors, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies
Research and report on new products or manufacturers of CEO’s interest
What You Bring:
1–4 years in a construction admin, paralegal, compliance, or executive assistant role
Familiarity with construction bids, legal forms, or public procurement portals
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a “finish what you start” mindset
Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Google Teams, AI programs and online portals
Ability to work independently, juggle tasks, and follow up proactively
Trustworthy, confidential, and professional in all communication
Bonus: Experience with government or military contracting or permitting processes
