This is a per diem position on site, two days per week.
Position Summary
Is responsible for supporting legal and compliance activities on a part-time basis, two days per week. This role focuses on subpoena processing, vendor compliance documentation, and managing files related to a document scanning and digitization initiative. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Additional Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.
Knowledge of subpoena processing, HIPAA regulations, and document retention policies preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic document management systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Primary Accountabilities
Review and process legal subpoenas in accordance with applicable regulations.
Track, collect, and maintain current vendor compliance documentation (e.g., insurance certificates, agreements).
Organize and prepare documents for a large-scale scanning project, ensuring proper labeling and handling of sensitive data.
Maintain logs of legal request responses and vendor compliance status.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for timely exchange of documents.
Perform other related legal administrative tasks
