Are you ready for a change? Ready to learn something new? Want to work in a small firm? Boutique law firm practicing in the administrative and local government areas seeks a 3-5 year paralegal, with paralegal training and a paralegal certificate, for a full-time, in-office, paralegal position.
Must be willing and able to learn this practice area. Previous experience in administrative and local government law is a plus, but not required.
We are seeking an individual to support our representation of Emergency Services Districts (ESDs) and water and wastewater districts across Texas. This is a meaningful, service-oriented role for someone who wants their work to directly support public safety, clean water, and essential community infrastructure.
Excellent research and writing skills are required. Must be organized, a team player, willing and able to manage a busy calendar, draft documents for attorney review, and participate in all aspects of the Firm’s administrative practice.
The ideal candidate is:
- Highly organized, detail driven, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear and professional in communication, both written and verbal
- Calm under pressure and able to adapt to time sensitive needs
- Service minded, with an interest in public safety, infrastructure, or local government
- Collaborative, reliable, and comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders
Prior experience with local government, special districts, or administrative law is helpful but not required.
