Location: New York City Metropolitan Area
Established mid-sized law firm is hiring an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join its midtown Manhattan team.
The ideal candidate is a pleasant and supportive professional with:
- A bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of international and domestic trademark prosecution experience
- Knowledge of patent procedures
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file trademark applications with the USTPO
- Conduct trademark clearance searches
- Assist with docketing, generating reports and tracking deadlines
- Assist corporate department with IP due diligence
- Assist with billing
- Assist with preparing and filing patent applications
- Assist with additional tasks, as needed
Additional information:
- Salary: $125K – $135K (non-exempt) commensurate with experience + benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, PTO, 401K and more
- Full-time in office
