Job Description
We are seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience handling estate planning, trust administration, probate, or real estate matters. We provide direct legal services to members of UNITE HERE Local 11. The ideal candidate will be able to manage preparing estate plans that include revocable living trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
Strong oral and written Spanish language fluency is required given that the position requires frequent communication with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients. Recent graduates will be considered with a demonstrated commitment to estate planning or related matters. The candidate must be willing to travel to Orange County and Phoenix, AZ one or two times per month to meet with clients, attend hearings, conduct outreach, and represent the firm as needed.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to California or Arizona bar at the time of applying
1-5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate, or real estate
Strong fluency in Spanish, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

Salary range $79,000 – $104,000, commensurate with experience
