We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support the Mass Tort practice area from our New Orleans, LA office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while working under tight deadlines. Additionally, you should be resilient, empathetic, caring, compassionate and generally comfortable with client communication.
What your average day will look like:
Communicate with potential and engaged clients;
Communicate with the lawyers and paralegals on your team;
Manage client information, request documents, and review files;
Draft and review routine legal documents;
Calendar and docket management;
Assist with discovery;
Create and maintain files in case management software.
What skills are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is not afraid of new technology and already has a grasp of the basics:
Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with legal case management software and Salesforce is desirable.
