About the Role 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Paralegal to join our Group Legal team. 

The role will provide legal and administrative support across Sri Lankan company 

secretarial, compliance, ASIC-related, and client portfolio matters. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an LLB graduate or an individual currently pursuing legal 

qualifications who is looking to build practical experience in a structured legal 

environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Handle day-to-day Sri Lankan company secretarial and compliance work. 

Documentation filings, form preparation, liaising with ROC and administrative legal support 

for assigned client portfolios. 

• Manage workload for designated accounts, including JaffeLee, and compliance related 

work, ensuring timely completion of tasks. 

• Maintain client records, trackers, and internal documentation with a high level of 

accuracy and organisation. 

• Liaise with relevant government officers and authorities to obtain necessary information 

and documentation. 

• Fill and file necessary documentation accurately and within timelines as per instructions 

issued by the relevant authorities on identified matters. 

• Coordinate with internal legal team members on recurring compliance and support 

requirements. 

• Assist with follow-ups, document preparation, and general paralegal support connected 

to ongoing client matters. 

Qualifications & Experience  

• LLB graduate, including candidates currently at Law College or those seeking legal 

support roles before further professional qualification. 

• Prior experience in paralegal, legal administrative, compliance, or document-handling 

work would be an advantage, but is not mandatory. 

• Strong general administrative capability is acceptable, as the work is process-driven and 

can be learned with guidance. 

Skills and Competencies 

• Ability to travel to relevant government offices, liaise with relevant officials to complete 

allocated tasks.  

• Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala. 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling repetitive and high-volume tasks. 

• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage busy 

workdays effectively. 

• Ability to learn quickly and follow structured processes with minimal supervision. 

• Reliable, proactive, and responsive approach to work. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism in dealing with 

internal stakeholders.
