Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site paralegal role located in Wilton Manors, FL. The paralegal will support attorneys in plaintiff-side consumer protection and class action matters by conducting legal research, organizing case files, and assisting with discovery.

Daily responsibilities include preparing and proofreading legal documents, managing document review workflows, maintaining case calendars, and coordinating communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. The role also involves tracking deadlines, compiling evidence and exhibits, summarizing records, and supporting high-volume litigation and mass arbitration filings. The paralegal will collaborate closely with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and accurate, timely submissions.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law and understanding of consumer protection, class action, and civil litigation concepts.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
  • Advanced Research abilities to locate, analyze, and synthesize statutes, case law, regulations, and factual information.
  • Attention to detail in Document Review, including organizing, tagging, and summarizing records and discovery materials.
  • Relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in litigation, consumer protection, or class actions.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, case management software, and standard office productivity applications.
  • Paralegal certificate or degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
