Position Summary

Patriot Holdings is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This position involves a broad range of legal responsibilities, with a focus on real estate, contract management, due diligence, and litigation support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Due Diligence: Review title materials, surveys, zoning reports, and other related documents.

Transactional Support: Assist in financing and business development transactions, including conducting due diligence and review/preparing schedules.

Contract Management

Communicate regularly on contract statuses with the General Counsel and management team.

Monitor and ensure compliance with contract terms, including identifying necessary actions and reporting.

Develop and draft contract language, letters, and other legal documents.

Create, maintain and enhance the contract database, including researching tools and processes to improve contract administration.

Assist in the development and revision of templates, key clauses, and template database management.

Legal ResearchConduct research and resolve routine legal questions under the supervision of the General Counsel.

Litigation SupportProvide assistance in litigation and insurance claims management.

Other Duties: Perform tasks as required under the supervision of the General Counsel.

Qualifications

Education: Paralegal Degree or Certification required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience

5+ years of real estate paralegal experience.

Employment law experience is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

Comprehensive understanding of the contract process, including evaluation, negotiation, approval, tracking, and close-out.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Strong writing skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated commitment to quality and accuracy.

Dependable and driven, with a strong sense of urgency and a proactive attitude toward learning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software applications (e.g., Monday).

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various departments to support organizational goals.

Capability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

General understanding of business operations, dynamics, and issues beyond basic legal matters.

$50,000 – $70,000 (DOE) annually
