About The Role
The commercial litigation paralegal will be a vital member of the litigation team, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys in handling commercial disputes. You will assist with all phases of litigation, from pre-filing investigation to trial preparation
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and prepare case assessments
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Assist with electronic discovery (e-discovery) processes
Manage and organize case files and exhibits
Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials
Conduct witness interviews and prepare them for testimony
Communicate with clients and court personnel
Maintain case chronologies and deadlines
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda of law
Draft correspondence, including letters and emails
Stay up-to-date on relevant commercial law developments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or paralegal certificate
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) (a plus)
Experience with e-discovery software (a plus)
