Job Description
The Compliance Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of compliance programs for SITL and ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, policies, guidelines, codes and laws. Interpret regulations and laws that apply to the business and to provide information to business on how to comply. Monitor continuous knowledge development regarding sectors’ rules, regulations, codes, laws, and best practices. Assess regulatory framework and ensure that any new developments are implemented in the businesses
Qualifications
First degree in Law
Masters, LLB is an added advantage
Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsorship is an added advantage
5-7 years post-NYSC experience in Compliance Function
Experience in Trust and supporting laws
