Full Job Description
Elder Law of Arizona is a growing law firm that focuses on the unique needs of the aging and disabled. We are seeking a collaborative staff member who has excellent administrative and communication skills and wants to be our ambassador of first impressions.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, friendly, outgoing, helpful, highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and work well as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have experience as a Receptionist, Secretary, or Legal Assistant in a law firm, but we are willing to train the right service-minded professional. The most important quality you can possess is a great attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed. This is a full-time position.
The benefits package for this position will depend on the applicants work experience and abilities. Benefits may include medical, dental and vision insurance and/or paid vacation after one year of employment.
TASKS WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:
· Answer phones and greet clients in a professional manner.
· Scheduling appointments for 2 attorneys.
· Data entry in our client management software systems.
· Manage the Conference Room schedule for staff and tenants.
· Confirm client appointments.
· Review and respond to email and web form inquiries for legal services.
· Prepare client fee agreements.
· Open, maintain and close client files.
· Collect client payments.
· Collect, scan, and distribute mail.
· Perform basic administrative tasks – draft documents, copy, scan, file.
· Provide backup support when staff members need a hand or a day off.
· Oversee the upkeep of the lobby; cleanliness, stocking supplies and marketing materials.
· You must be available to work and be in the office Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

· Must be able to manage multiple phone lines.
· Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and calendaring.
· Knowledge of technical legal terms a plus.
· Must be a pro-active problem solver with the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail, and the willingness to seek help as necessary, rather than guessing how projects should be completed.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including outlook.
· Experience with Clio a plus.
· Ability to interact effectively and professionally with staff, clients, and vendors.
· Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
· Must be prompt, responsible, reliable, and maintain confidentiality.

Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
