We are looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The candidate must type 35 WPM and have experience drafting pleadings and motions, filing motions though MDEC and CaseFileXpress, and experience using Clio (or a similar document management program). The candidate must have experience with case file management. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and growing legal team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs in family law cases.
Draft correspondence to clients and other attorneys.
File pleadings.
General filing and file organization.
Gather and organize exhibits for trials.
Maintain and organize legal documents and files.
Interview potential clients.
Confer with clients.
