Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate (yes, passionate) estate planning attorney with at least five years of experience in designing and implementing non-taxable estate plans. The primary focus of this role will be estate plan design and advisory, which includes working closely with our clients to develop workable, effective solutions and advise them on the necessary “soft work” that turns documented estate plans into successful game plans. Manage estate planning engagements from intake to completion, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Educate and advise clients on estate planning options, including wills, trusts, and advance directives.
Oversee occasional trust administration or probate cases as needed, supporting clients through these processes.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-net-worth planning engagements and contribute to the firm’s foundational planning group.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in California (or eligible through the Registered Military Spouse Attorney program).
An unblemished ethics record.
At least five years of estate planning experience (required).
Additional experience in trust administration or probate (preferred but not required).
A deep understanding of trust law, estate planning strategies, and fiduciary responsibilities.
You are detail-oriented and believe the quality of your work product directly reflects how you show up as an attorney.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
A proactive, organized, and self-motivated approach to handling legal matters.
Proficiency in Clio, Wealth Counsel, Microsoft Word and Adobe.

What We Offer:

Employee benefits, including health contributions, a 401(k) plan, profit share and an incentive program.
