A confidential New York based litigation boutique is seeking exceptionally strong junior litigation associates to join a sophisticated, high-stakes practice. This role is well suited to a lawyer who wants broad exposure across complex disputes, substantial responsibility early, and a training environment with close partner access.

THE ROLE

• Draft and revise pleadings, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs

• Manage fact development, legal research, and complex writing assignments

• Participate in discovery strategy, including document discovery and witness preparation

• Prepare for and take depositions, including defending and examining witnesses

• Support hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation, including outline and exhibit development

• Communicate with clients and work closely with partners on case strategy

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

New York, New York

Schedule:

In office 4 days per week

Compensation:

Base salary range: $260,000 to $275,000

REQUIREMENTS

• 0 to 4 years of litigation experience (law firm, clerkship, or a combination)

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance, including top 10 to 15 percent of class as a general guideline; Top 14 law school background preferred

• Active New York bar admission (or eligibility to waive in promptly)

• Demonstrated interest in complex litigation and a litigation boutique environment

• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills

• Ability and willingness to work on-site as part of a collaborative litigation practice

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Federal or state judicial clerkship

• Law review, journal, moot court, or comparable academic distinction

• Prior experience in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, trial, or appellate matters
