Join our team as a Real Estate Litigator in our Van Nuys office, where you will play a pivotal role in representing clients across a diverse range of legal matters. What you’ll do
- Represent clients in various litigation matters, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law & regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to build compelling cases.
- Draft and file legal documents with precision and clarity, showcasing your strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Negotiate settlements effectively on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strategize on case management and share insights on best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and communicate updates to clients regularly.
- Provide legal administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Basic qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in California.
Preferred qualifications
- Proven experience in litigation with a focus on multiple areas of law mentioned above.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Prior experience in a law office environment is highly desirable.
