Position: Natural Resources Associate – San Diego
A national law firm is seeking an Environmental Law Associate to add to their team in California. Their Natural Resources group represents clients in complex litigation, administrative proceedings, and transactions pertaining to water rights, hazardous waste contamination, mining, oil and gas, public lands, and air quality.
Qualifications:
JD from accredited law school
CA Bar Admission
1-5 years of experience in general environmental practice
Knowledge in the areas of natural resources law: NEPA, ESA, CAA, CWA, BLM leasing, USFS permitting
Experience with
natural resources litigation, industry experience in energy, infrastructure development and use, agency rule making, water rights, water quality, and enforcement proceedings.
Ideal candidate will have:

Can translate the law into arguments, guidance, and applications with the ability to put findings into real life, actionable solutions

Benefits:
Salary will range between $200,000- $230,000 depending on experience
Discretionary bonus may be available based on performance
