This position reports to the Chief of Staff in the City Manager’s Office. The City of Midland is seeking a highly skilled Municipal Contract Manager to oversee, manage, and enforce compliance with contracts across all city departments. This position ensures that all contractual agreements are adhered to, properly cataloged, and effectively communicated both internally and externally. The Contract Manager will work closely with Purchasing, Legal, and Finance while supporting all city departments to uphold contract integrity, financial accountability, and operational efficiency.
This role requires mastery of contract management, record-keeping, and enforcement holding vendors, contractors, and partners accountable to contractual obligations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at ensuring the city’s interests are protected in all agreements.
