Our client is a well-known and
dynamic
Private Bank. For its Group Compliance business line, our client is looking for an experienced Monitoring Compliance Officer in order to oversee the identification and monitoring of high-risk transactions from an AML perspective, ensuring compliance with international sanctions and performing additional compliance control and monitoring tasks as needed.
Your mission and contribution
As a Monitoring Compliance Officer, your main missions will be the following:
Assess the plausibility of provided information and supporting documents.
Analyse Relationship Managers’ justifications for AML alert reports.
Define corrective actions when necessary.
Conduct clarification procedures in line with Article 6 of the AML Law.
Assist Operations in identifying individuals or entities flagged under CH/UFAC/UN/EU sanctions in SWIFT or SIC messages.
Perform second-level checks on Stelink hit reports.
Monitor updates to Swiss sanctions lists.
Regularly upload updated sanctions lists on a weekly basis.
Handle daily operations related to frozen accounts.
Make decisions on unblocking accounts or transactions.
Conduct periodic reviews of account blockages to assess their validity and necessity.
Requirements At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar position.
Delivery of high quality for all tasks, including consistency, correctness, and timeliness of information.
Fluent in English and French (oral and written) is essential.
