Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings Draft and argue motions Take and defend depositions Manage multiple litigation projects in a
fast-paced environment
Direct interaction with clients, offering legal advice and representing their interests in court Continuously update and maintain knowledge on relevant laws and regulations
Minimum Position Qualifications:
3+ years of employment litigation experience Strong academic credentials, writing, and
analytical skills
Admitted to practice law in California Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases Familiarity with Los Angeles court procedures and regulations Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor less experienced legal staff Track record of successful case settlements and verdicts Knowledge in the use of legal database software Active involvement in professional legal associations and community organizations
