Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant at a trial firm. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal document preparation, document review, legal research, as well as drafting pleadings and motions. An understanding of both state and federal courts and their respective filing systems are a must. Legal Assistant should be punctual, organized, self motivated, friendly, professional, and has the ability to be courteous towards employees and clients. Full healthcare benefits available after 60 days.
Qualifications
Legal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Legal Research skills
Drafting pleadings and motions in state and federal courts around the country
Interacting with local counsel in other states
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a litigation law firm is preferred

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
