Kinney Recruiting has been asked by one of our longstanding biglaw firm clients to conduct a search for a mid-level to senior-level finance associate for the firm’s New York and Charlotte offices. The ideal candidate will have at least four (4) years of experience practicing in a large firm’s corporate practice.
We are interested in speaking with candidates with experience with fund raises, investor negotiation, private fund formation, and familiarity with federal securities laws such as the Investment Advisors Act, Reg D, and exemptions to the Investment Company Act.
This practice group works closely with private equity clients, assisting global asset managers and sponsors in the structuring and formation of complex credit private funds. If you are interested in furthering your career in corporate law, we strongly encourage you to gain experience advising on deals involving private credit; the firm we represent is the go-to advisor. There is no better place to hone your skills.
Admission to the New York or North Carolina bar, a JD from a nationally ranked US law school, and prior large firm experience are required.
