A law firm seeks a Mid-level Employment Law Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience, strong academic credentials, and membership in the California Bar. They will be responsible for providing clients with legal counsel on various aspects of employment law.
Duties:
Drafting and negotiating bonus plans, commission plans, and other compensation arrangements.
Conducting investigations into workplace misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct.
Providing crisis management support for employees and executives facing career challenges or misconduct allegations.
Advising employers on best practices to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Handling leave laws, employee discipline, and other employment cycle scenarios with fairness.
Assisting high-net-worth individuals with the hiring and management of personal and household staff.
Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm’s Employment Law group.
Admission to and in good standing with the California Bar.
Strong academic credentials.
Experience drafting and negotiating employment agreements, separation agreements, and standard employment documents.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.
Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California Bar.
Skills:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
