Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its expanding practice in Charlotte, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients on complex transactions across the United States.
Duties
- Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on commercial real estate matters.
- Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and commercial leases.
- Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviews.
- Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various practice areas.
- Support clients with operational real estate matters, including lease amendments and tenant issues.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
- 4-6 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
- Admission to the bar in the state of location preference or ability to become admitted promptly.
- Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
Education & Certification
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Admission to the bar in the state of location preference.
