Role Description
TTT & Partners is seeking for two Mid-Level Associate to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Bangkok. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing complex dispute matters, supporting senior attorneys across various litigation proceedings, and delivering exceptional legal representation to our clients. You will handle both frontline strategy and essential behind-the-scenes case preparation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent and assist clients in proceedings before Thai courts, including conducting witness examinations and cross-examinations, and handling other procedural matters, from the Court of First Instance through the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
- Conduct in-depth research on statutory provisions, judicial precedents, and court procedures to formulate sound legal arguments and simplify complex issues for strategic use.
- Prepare, draft, and review precise legal documents, including court pleadings, motions, briefs, notice letters, witness statements, and legal submissions, ensuring full compliance with procedural standards.
- Investigate case facts, interview relevant parties, and extract key information from evidence to build and strengthen legal strategies.
- Interact directly with clients to offer practical solutions, manage expectations, and effectively communicate with adverse parties, tribunal members, and government authorities.
- Provide comprehensive support during trial proceedings and arbitration hearings assisting senior attorneys in court, managing trial binders, and taking on leadership roles in smaller or interlocutory matters as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or Master’s degree (LL.M.)
- 4–6 years of experience in commercial litigation, civil/criminal dispute resolution, or arbitration in a leading law firm.
- Holding a valid Thai Attorney License (Lawyer License) is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the Thai legal system, Civil and Criminal Codes, and Civil/Criminal Codes of Procedure.
- Strong service mindset with a client-focused and solution-oriented approach.
- High level of professional responsibility, integrity, accountability, and commitment to legal ethics and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical thinking, excellent legal drafting, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Strong professional proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
