Job Description
- Advise domestic and international clients on complex M&A, corporate, and commercial transactions.
- Lead and coordinate legal due diligence exercises.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, commercial agreements, and legal memoranda.
- Manage transactions across a broad range of sectors, including consumer goods, manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, energy, real estate, construction, and project finance.
- Represent clients in negotiations and discussions with counterparties, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical commercial advice.
- Prepare client updates, legal publications, and presentation materials.
- Support business development initiatives and client relationship management.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior lawyers within the team.
The Successful Applicant
- Graduate from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, University of Economics and Law (HCMC), Hanoi Law University, or the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (Hanoi)
- 7+ years of legal experience, preferably gained within a reputable law firm.
- Strong M&A and corporate transactional experience.
- Proven drafting and negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage transactions while working collaboratively within a team.
