mid/level associate attorney Jobs in Remote at Established Environmental Law Firm
Boutique environmental law firm is seeking a mid/level associate attorney with at least three (3) years’ experience. The firm is based in the Midwest but the position can be fully remote. Competitive candidates will have experience:
– Evaluating and advising clients on environmental risks related to real estate transactions, financing, and redevelopment including experience reviewing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
– Negotiating environmental insurance, and environmental aspects of purchase and sale agreements, leases, and loan documents
– Overseeing environmental consultants on investigations and remediations
– Working with regulatory agencies to achieve regulatory closure and other protections
– Direct experience with sophisticated clients
Competitive candidates will have the following:
– Strong work ethic
– Ability to work independently
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
– Strong writing skills
– In addition to a JD, a degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field
This position offers the opportunity for an equity interest for the right candidate. Salary range is commensurate with experience.
Pay: $50,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year
