A highly regarded North Carolina-based corporate law firm is continuing to expand its Corporate & M&A practice due to increasing transactional activity and client demand.

The firm advises a sophisticated middle-market client base across a broad range of mergers & acquisitions, private company transactions, strategic corporate matters and general business transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handling mergers & acquisitions and broader corporate transactional matters
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex transactional agreements and related corporate documentation
  • Supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions across a range of industries
  • Conducting due diligence reviews and assisting with transaction management
  • Advising clients on corporate governance and general business matters
  • Working closely with partners and clients throughout all stages of transactions
  • Collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice groups on sophisticated corporate matters

Candidate Requirements

  • 4-6 years’ Corporate/M&A transactional experience gained within a reputable law firm
  • Strong drafting and negotiation experience across complex transactional documents
  • Experience handling mergers & acquisitions and related corporate transactions
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Ability to work directly with clients and operate within a collaborative team environment
  • North Carolina admission preferred
