A highly regarded North Carolina-based corporate law firm is continuing to expand its Corporate & M&A practice due to increasing transactional activity and client demand.
The firm advises a sophisticated middle-market client base across a broad range of mergers & acquisitions, private company transactions, strategic corporate matters and general business transactions.
Responsibilities
- Handling mergers & acquisitions and broader corporate transactional matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex transactional agreements and related corporate documentation
- Supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions across a range of industries
- Conducting due diligence reviews and assisting with transaction management
- Advising clients on corporate governance and general business matters
- Working closely with partners and clients throughout all stages of transactions
- Collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice groups on sophisticated corporate matters
Candidate Requirements
- 4-6 years’ Corporate/M&A transactional experience gained within a reputable law firm
- Strong drafting and negotiation experience across complex transactional documents
- Experience handling mergers & acquisitions and related corporate transactions
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to work directly with clients and operate within a collaborative team environment
- North Carolina admission preferred
