What You Will Be Doing
Draft and negotiate contracts and advise on related transactions
Advise on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters
Advise on choice of entity and create and restructure business entities
Assist in due diligence efforts and post-deal integration
Maintain a current working knowledge of laws and regulatory developments
Structure and draft documents for commercial and finance transactions
Experience You Will Need
Interest in pursuing a long-term career in a law firm environment, developing a book of business and a successful practice over time
Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Experience and/or background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred
Strong drafting, research, and writing skills
Ability to work effectively with teams and independently, as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work successfully with staff, attorneys at all levels, and firm clients
Candidate must be licensed or attain license to practice law in the State of Ohio.
