We are currently seeking a MedicalReduction Specialist to join our growing team and support our efforts in managing medical lien reductions on behalf of our clients.
Compensation is $15-$16 per hour for an estimated 40 hours each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Reduction Requests
Compile and organize all required documentation for reduction requests.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all materials.
Negotiate Reductions
Engage in direct negotiations with medical providers to secure bill reductions.
Advocate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Follow-Up and Confirmation
Monitor the progress of each request and follow up consistently with providers.
Confirm receipt, signature, and processing of all negotiated reductions in accordance with company procedures.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all reduction activity, including requests, provider responses, negotiation notes, and final outcomes.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal documentation standards.
Client Communication
Provide clients with clear, timely updates regarding the status of their reduction requests.
Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaboration
Work closely with internal departments, including legal, billing, and client services, to coordinate efforts and ensure efficient resolution of cases.
Support cross-functional projects as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, healthcare negotiations, or client services preferred.
Previous experience in working with a Personal Injury firm is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare billing systems or legal procedures related to medical liens or claims.
Experience negotiating with providers or third-party payers.
Bilingual abilities are a plus
