Position: Â MEDICAL MALPRACTICE DEFENSE ATTORNEY
A growing law firm with decades of health law practice experience is hiring for an Associate Attorney, Medical Malpractice Defense. In this role, you will represent hospitals, medical centers, and health care professionals in medical and dental liability actions. This role is hybrid with 2 days in office/week in DC. Position requires (A) a license in VA and DC, or a license in VA and the ability to waive into DC;
(B) 3+ years of litigation experience, including medical malpractice defense experience. Compensation package includes a base salary of $,000 + quarterly and annual bonus +
comprehensive benefits
.
Salary: $125,000 – $160,000 per year

Responsibilities
• Drafting pleadings and motions
• Drafting and responding to written discovery
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Appearing in court and arguing motions
• Preparing for and attending multi-party, complex civil trials
