CDH Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced Family and Matrimonial Law Paralegal to join our Syracuse, New York practice on a full-time basis. This is a substantive role for someone who knows family law and can hit the ground running.
**About the Firm**
CDH Law was founded in 2015 by former prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and veterans. We are a five-attorney firm handling criminal defense, family and matrimonial law, DWI & traffic law, real estate, and estates. Our team includes five paralegals, in-house investigators, and regular law student interns and summer associates.
**The Role**
You will work directly with attorneys on contested and uncontested divorce matters, custody and visitation disputes, support proceedings, and orders of protection. You will manage case files, draft correspondence and court documents, communicate with clients, and coordinate with opposing counsel and the court. This is a high-volume practice. Precision and follow-through are not optional.
**What We’re Looking For**
– Demonstrated experience in matrimonial and family law, preferably in a New York practice – Ability to draft and review family law documents including stipulations, net worth statements, and support petitions – Strong written and verbal communication skills – Composure and professionalism when working with clients in difficult personal situations – Ability to manage a demanding caseload with accuracy and without close supervision

**Compensation and Benefits**
Hourly rate: $25–$40, commensurate with experience

Pay: $52,000.00 – $83,200.00 per year
