About DocDraft
DocDraft is building the consumer and small business legal services platform of the future — combining AI-generated legal documents with licensed attorney oversight. We believe legal services will inevitably move online the way banking, tax, and insurance did, and we’re building the gateway.
The role
We’re hiring our first marketing generalist to help us tell our customers’ stories at scale. Our clients regularly have moments with our attorneys where you can feel the relief and gratitude in real time — and right now, almost none of that reaches the outside world. Your job is to change that.
You’ll own customer testimonial content end to end: finding the right clients, interviewing them, producing the videos, and getting them in front of the right audiences. As the engine matures, you’ll take on broader marketing work across social, content, and distribution.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You’ll build the playbook, not inherit one.
What you’ll do
• Build a pipeline of happy customers worth featuring, working closely with our attorneys to surface the strongest stories.
• Own outreach, scheduling, and interview prep — making clients feel comfortable and getting them to open up on camera.
• Produce short-form video content from those interviews, optimized for each social platform.
• Publish, distribute, and learn — building a feedback loop on what resonates.
• Take on additional marketing projects as the testimonial program scales: organic social, email, content distribution, and brand experiments.
Who you are
• 1–3 years of marketing, content, or production experience — startup or agency background is a plus.
• Strong video editing chops and a portfolio of short-form work you’re proud of.
• Excellent written communication. Your outreach gets replies; your captions earn attention.
• High emotional intelligence. You can spot the moment a client’s voice changes on a recorded call, and you know how to make people feel at ease on camera.
• Organized and self-directed — able to run a multi-stage pipeline without dropping balls.
• Comfortable being scrappy. We’re early, and the playbook is yours to write.
Nice to have
• Experience managing social media platforms for a busienss
• Experience with modern video and social tooling (CapCut, Descript, Premiere, etc.).
