As of March 12th, a prestigious law firm is seeking a Managing Clerk to assist with all filings, service of papers, and litigation procedures. The person in this role will assist with:

  • Advising attorneys and staff on filing procedures as well as state and federal court proceedings.
  • Completing physical and electronic filings with various courts.
  • Ensuring the accurate servicing of all documents, monitoring pending cases, and alerting attorneys of upcoming filing deadlines.
  • Conducting research on changes in regulations and filing best practices.
  • Updating electronic databases, creating document indexes, and reviewing court records.
  • Developing relationships with attorneys, staff, and court representatives.

Required Skills:

  • Five or more years of experience in a Managing Clerk’s Office.
  • Knowledgeable of court rules and procedures, proficient with relevant software, and familiar with electronic filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a detail-oriented approach.
