We are hiring a front-desk receptionist for the Deerfield Beach office. This job will be 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is in-office and is not eligible for work-from-home.
Your job duties will include:
Work at the front desk and greet clients who come into the office, making clients feel respected and cared for;
Handle all incoming phone calls as the first point of contact on behalf of the firm;
Communicate with potential clients to obtain basic information as the first step of an intake process;
Communicate with existing clients and determine whether their issue is something that you can handle yourself, or if the client needs to speak with the appropriate paralegal/attorney;
Take accurate messages from callers and forward such messages to the appropriate department;
Monitor email inboxes and forward emails to the appropriate attorney/department;
Monitor other software/firm technology and take appropriate actions to respond to messages/inquires;
Use the firm’s technology to schedule potential clients and existing clients to speak with the appropriate team member;
Place outbound phone calls as directed by the legal staff to check in on clients and potential clients;

Although previous experience in a law firm, medical practice, or other client-facing business is preferred, we are much more interested in hiring a candidate with an energetic and positive attitude. As you will be the first line of communication with potential and current clients, attitude, problem solving ability, and the ability to perform your job functions will be much more important than your previous experience.
