Job Title: Manager of TTB Compliance
We are the leading bulk alcohol supplier to the beverage and specialty industrial markets, has built a world class bulk alcohol warehouse and storage distribution facility in Louisville, KY. We are looking for a detail-oriented Manager of Compliance to manage the overall DSP/Brewery TTB compliance program. We are looking for a motivated, experienced, and team-oriented candidate to join our team based in Louisville. This position reports to our Chief Operating Officer with close coordination with all areas of our company as subject matter expert for all TTB compliance related topics.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the company-wide TTB compliance program
- Prepare and submit all monthly TTB reporting for our location and Kentucky location DSP/Brewery and its various DSP/Brewery partners
- Track TTB excise tax shipments, reconcile monthly activity reports with semi-monthly excise tax payments
- Prepare and mail monthly export reports
- Submitting TTB claims for tax paid returns
- Prepare, submit and maintain all our location and Kentucky location TTB permits and registrations
- Assist inventory, supply chain and warehouse personnel with monthly inventory reporting and reconciliations at our Kentucky location and DSP/Brewery partner locations
- Coordinating quarterly DSP/Brewery partner inventory audits
- Conduct annual internal audits for all TTB regulatory areas at our location and Kentucky location and DSP/Brewery partners
- Coordinate and lead all TTB, state and local audits of our location and Kentucky location and its various DSP/Brewery partners
- Reviewing all shipping paperwork for Kentucky location and DSP/Brewery partners for reporting accuracy
- Reviewing Operations report for excess storage loss claims
- Preparing month end bulk and package inventories
- Support our Sales for TTB issues and formulations
- Support Production and Shipping for TTB formulas, compliance and other issues
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or production related field, with at least three years of TTB compliance and reporting experience within the ethanol industry
- Prior TTB DSP/Brewery audit experience
- Alcohol or chemical industry background
- Experience and knowledge of various ethanol industry calculations and conversions (i.e. proof gallons)
- Working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,)
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, negotiation skills, dispute resolution and ability to overcome obstacles
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to anticipate needs and accomplish necessary tasks
- Strong motivational ability
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Preferred – Knowledge of Net Suite
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
