Job Description: Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP)
Location: Work from Home – Colorado
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) in Colorado to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a current LLP certification and have 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal in family law.
Responsibilities:
Represent Clients in family law matters, including legal separations, dissolutions of marriage or civil unions, allocation of parental responsibilities (APR), and modifications of child support or APR and includes filing and responding to motions for remedial contempt citations under C.R.C.P. 107.
Prepare and file legal documents (e.g., parenting plans, separation agreements, motions, etc.).
Advise and assist clients with legal forms, documents, and processes, including how to complete and file documents properly.
Negotiate and advocate for clients during negotiations and mediations.
Support clients in court by sitting with them at the counsel table, providing emotional support, answering court questions, and explaining court proceedings.
Explain court orders and provide guidance on court processes.
Communicate with opposing parties and their representatives on case-related matters.
Direct clients to additional resources (e.g., parenting education) and assist with filing certificates of completion.
Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Licensed Legal Paraprofessional certification in good standing.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a family law firm as a paralegal.
Comfortable in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
Familiarity with legal case management software (e.g., Clio) is a plus.
High-level proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Zoom conferencing technology.
Strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
Must be able to work remotely with a reliable internet connection.

Compensation:
Salary Range $75,000 – $90,000.
Compensation is based on experience, commission and billable hours.
