Our firm is seeking a hard working, highly organized legal assistant for our busy office. The Legal Assistant must have proficiency with computer and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and will handle complicated legal work with both discretion and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Enter clients’ information in database.
Type pleadings, other legal documents, and correspondence.
Schedule meetings and conference calls.
Answer client telephone calls and arrange meetings with clients.
Maintain case files and file lists.
Effectively use case management program.
Electronic filing in State and Federal Courts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
