Full time working 40 hours per week,
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Two (2) courses or One (1) year experience in research principles; or equivalent education or experience,
3. Good computer/typing skills and good writing and grammar skills.
4. Must have or be able to obtain ICC Property Maintenance Certification within twelve (12) months of employment.
5. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; and must maintain insurability under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.
6. Good customer service skills.
7. Pass a background investigation including drug screen and physical.
Preferred candidates will possess Building, Construction, and Landscape maintenance experience.
This position requires the ability to investigate and solve complaints of code violations in a professional manner, post code violations notices and serve court citations. It can be physically demanding such as ascending and descending ladders, inspecting crawlspaces, etc.
