About the Role: In this role, you will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of buy and sell contracts. You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and external parties to identify and address potential legal issues, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and ultimately secure mutually beneficial deals. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will be responsible for advocating for our client’s best interests while maintaining professional relationships with all parties involved.
Responsibilities:
Review and assist in negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance of legal terms and conditions.
Interact with senior managers and employees in all departments across the Client’s organization.
Efficiently complete negotiations by adhering to processes and focusing on what is important to complete negotiations.
Agreements to redline/negotiate (mostly on the counterparty’s paper and sometimes on the client’s paper):
Non-Disclosure Agreement
Business Partner Revalidation
Data Privacy Addendum
Procurement contracts as and when presented – mostly third-party paper
Review – RFP Terms and Conditions for the client’s Bids and Proposals team
Qualifications:
Between 4-5 years of relevant experience drafting and negotiating a variety of buy and sell side contracts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, editing and document preparation skills, and high attention to detail required.
Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers in a global organization and international environment.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to no supervision while adhering to SLAs.
Experience negotiating on behalf of or with parties in India, APAC, North America, and EMEA is a plus.
Prior experience working on leading commercial contract management tools is a plus.
Ability to work from and with negotiation playbooks and contract templates.
Have a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
