Job Overview
A well-established, multi-jurisdictional collection law firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team in our Mississippi office. This role provides a great opportunity for legal professionals with a strong interest in litigation, debt collection, and creditor rights.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in litigation matters related to debt collection and creditor rights.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations as necessary.
Work closely with support staff to ensure timely case management and documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
Maintain compliance with all court and firm procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Mississippi and in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills, dependability, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $70,955.00 – $84,408.00 per year
