Litigation Support Specialist (Office Specialist 1) – Portland Jobs in Portland, OR at Department of Justice

We are seeking a General Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all phases of the litigation process, from investigation to trial. As a Litigation Attorney, you will represent clients in civil lawsuits and other legal proceedings, providing expert legal advice and guidance.

**Duties:**

– Conduct legal research.

– Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, memorandums of law, opinion letters.

– Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

– Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

– Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on case strategies.

– Perform legal administrative tasks as needed.

**Qualifications:**

– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

– Active FL Bar license.

– Strong writing and communication skills.
