As a Litigation Attorney, you will engage in sophisticated and challenging litigation work for clients in Ohio and nationwide. We are seeking a staff attorney with a minimum of three years of general litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in product liability and/or toxic tort litigation.
Responsibilities include drafting and responding to nationwide discovery-related documents, including written discovery and motions, coordinating discovery issues with other counsel, preparing document productions, assisting in deposition preparation, and working closely with clients and expert witnesses.

This position is ideally hybrid in our Toledo, Ohio office, but we are open to candidates working in either our Akron or Columbus, Ohio offices.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Minimum 3+ years of general litigation experience
Strong technological skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems
Superior research skills, including use of online services, databases, and the Internet
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Physical Requirements
Sitting for up to half an hour at a time
Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day
Bending and stooping occasionally, up to half an hour per day
