The Kansas City, Missouri, office of Baty Otto Scheer P.C., a civil litigation firm, seeks a full-time litigation paralegal. Candidates must have experience working on complex legal matters and managing large document production. Additionally, the candidate must have specific experience handling filings in both state and federal courts, maintaining client files, preparing medical chronologies, summarizing depositions, and providing administrative support as needed. The candidate must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff is a requirement of the position. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Tabs3 and NetDocuments is a plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
