Our Client
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded national law firm that is continuing to expand due to sustained growth. As part of this expansion, they are looking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their dynamic and busy Litigation team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious matters while gaining regular advocacy experience before the Courts nationwide. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload with a particular emphasis on childcare, healthcare and Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) matters. This role would suit an organised and commercially minded solicitor who enjoys court work, thrives under pressure and is keen to develop their litigation career within a supportive and progressive firm.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a varied litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution.
- Represent clients before the District, Circuit and High Courts across Ireland.
- Prepare pleadings, affidavits, legal submissions and all associated court documentation.
- Attend client consultations, hearings and court appearances nationwide.
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, procedural matters and legal risk.
- Manage cases involving childcare, healthcare and Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) disputes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver practical and commercially focused legal solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through a consistently high standard of service.
- Ensure files are managed efficiently in accordance with Law Society regulations and internal procedures.
- Remain informed of legislative developments, procedural changes and relevant case law.
The Person
This role is ideal for a motivated Litigation Solicitor seeking greater responsibility, regular advocacy work and exposure to a broad range of complex litigation matters.
You will also have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Proven advocacy experience with confidence appearing before the Courts.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and case management abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience in childcare, healthcare or RTB matters would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A full clean driving licence together with access to your own vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel throughout Ireland as required.
