Role Description: We are looking for a Senior Associate or Principal Associate who can handle wide range of complex civil, criminal and commercial disputes. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves appearances in Courts, assisting Senior Counsel, drafting pleadings, motions, written submissions, and opinions; preparing case strategies; and managing case files and timelines. The Senior Associate will also be involved on business development initiatives, contribute to knowledge management, and uphold the firm’s standards of professional responsibility and client service.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of post-qualification experience in litigation at a reputable law firm or chambers, preferably with exposure to high-stakes commercial disputes.
- Strong foundation in Law with demonstrated experience in civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, and related dispute resolution matters.
- Hands-on experience drafting and arguing Motions, pleadings, written statements, and other substantive applications before courts and tribunals.
- Advanced Research skills, including case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and preparation of legal opinions and strategy notes.
- Substantial experience with Depositions, witness preparation, evidence handling, and coordination with experts and counsel.
- Prior experience appearing before various Courts and quasi-judicial forums, with comfort managing multiple matters and hearings.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
