Job Description
We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our team!
Boutique Intellectual Property Law firm seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to support federal court litigation. This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage all aspects of case preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case initiation, discovery, trial preparation, and appeals.
Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and codes.
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documents for attorney review.
Organize and maintain case files.
Prepare deposition notices and subpoenas.
Coordinate depositions.
Monitor court dockets and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with filing requirements in federal courts.
Manage document review and production processes, including electronic discovery (ESI).
Communicate effectively with court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and vendors.
Record and store client information.
Electronically file cases and documents with courts.
Qualifications:
Previous training or experience as a paralegal.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Familiarity with federal court procedures and e-filing systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing independent tasks.
