Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury Law)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Full-Time;
Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually DOE
We are a growing personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, CA with a close-knit team supporting an attorney who prioritizes collaboration and expert client service looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Litigation Paralegal with 2+ years of personal injury experience to join our plaintiff-side practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the discovery process by drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas in a timely manner
Review and analyze documents produced by opposing counsel
Organize and prepare documents for production
Monitor and track deadlines, court dates, and other important timelines using Filevine
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to support case development and resolution
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Prepare witness statements and deposition summaries
Organize and index documents for review and production
Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources
Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to support legal arguments
Summarize research findings to inform attorneys’ case strategies
Assist in calculating potential settlements and preparing settlement agreements
Coordinate with experts and witnesses as needed
Required Qualifications
2+ years of personal injury law firm experience required
Bilingual in English and Spanishrequired (speaking, reading, writing)
Knowledge of California civil procedure and local court rules
Experience with drafting and filing legal documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Filevine highly preferred
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent preferred
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent preferred
