Position: Litigation Paralegal II.

About the role

The Litigation Paralegal II is an important member of the Litigation team & supports the team with several aspects of Oscar’s litigation work & processes (including litigation & arbitration, subrogation, invoice review & support, standard & ad hoc reporting, mail, subpoena, & notice triaging, vendor relationship support, & administrative tasks).

You will report to the Managing Senior Counsel.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $ – $ per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits & monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 10 days per year.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end litigation & arbitration processes, including assistance with all aspects of intake, file set-up, organization & maintenance, tracking, litigation holds, hearing/trial calendar maintenance, discovery, hearings/trials, & active case support.

Gather, organize, review, summarize, & index documents from multiple sources.

Handle subrogation, mail & subpoena triage processes.

Develop & prepare reports.

Help with vendor implementation, onboarding, & support.

Provide legal & administrative support to attorneys, including legal research & coordination of requests.

Communicate with internal partners & external entities.

Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of paralegal experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house experience performing legal research under attorney supervision & proficient in redlining & editing capabilities of Word & Google Docs & other Google Suite applications.

Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently & accurately.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
