Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of personal injury law. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and evidence.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
Draft and transcribe legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
Maintain accurate records using PCLaw and other legal administrative software.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the litigation process.
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and filings to ensure timely submissions.
Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for court appearances.
Experience
Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role is preferred.
Familiarity with patent law, estate planning, tribal law regulations, and workers’ compensation law is highly desirable.
Strong transcription skills with attention to detail in drafting legal documents.
Proficiency in PCLaw or similar legal management software is a plus.
Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to extract relevant information from clients and witnesses.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
